Salad Vang was born in Long Cheng, Laos, of the Hmong people, who were long-standing Shamanist idol worshippers. In 1975, his family fled the communist invasion of Laos and lived in a Thailand refugee camp until they came to America in 1980. 

After coming to America, he worked hard to pursue an education and obtained a B.Sc. degree in 1995, a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001, and a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2008. But while his business was thriving, his marriage was not. His wife, Tsee, had grown weary of their extravagant, worldly lifestyle and was fasting and praying for him to receive Christ. A year after their daughter suffered from seizures and went into a coma, God answered Tsee’s prayers, and Salad received Christ as his Lord and Savior. 

A few days later, Salad and Tsee had the same dream through which the Lord revealed the source of the witchcraft that had attacked their marriage and caused their daughter’s sickness. Afterward, they prayed to God to heal their daughter and saw two tall angels, each holding a golden sword. Suddenly, two dark, small demonic spirits came out of their daughter, and she was healed immediately. That was the beginning of their spiritual journey and realization of Jesus’ supremacy over other gods. 

Vang went from being a skeptical evolutionary doctor to a believer in Christ Jesus who has preached to millions across the globe. His life transformed, and he now serves Jesus, dedicating his whole life to the LORD, Jesus Christ, and the healing and deliverance that only comes in His name.
