Marilyn was born in 1961 and raised in South Carolina. She is a 1979 graduate, an Air Force retiree, and currently a Federal Service employee. She has earned Associate of Information and Communication Systems, Bachelor of Human Services, and Master of Human Resources degrees. She accepted Christ into her life at the age of fifteen but rededicated her life on October 18, 1992. 

 In 1997, she had an encounter with God where He spoke and called her as His Prophet to His people. She takes her calling seriously and has a passion for the people of God to know the voice of the Father, their Savior Jesus Christ, and their present Helper, the Holy Spirit. 

She has served under various Apostles, Bishops, and Pastors and ministries in the capacities of Sunday School secretary, church treasurer, praise and worship, choir, women and cleaning ministries, intercessory prayer, bookstore management, and teaching and preaching during services and classes. She received ministry licenses under three ministries but believes that it is not about the title or position but the function of the call as God’s Spirit leads one to fulfill His will and purpose. 

Always remembering what Jesus did for her on the cross, her mission is to love, encourage, exhort, and respect all of God’s people, believers and non-believers. To preach the Gospel of the Kingdom so all will come into the knowledge and understanding of God’s love and purpose for their lives. 

In 2007, Marilyn responded “yes” to the birthing of Ashes to Beauty Ministries and in 2017, “The REAL” (Respect~Encourage~Admonish~Love), which is a forum for everyone dealing with “real” life issues to know the truth of God’s word from His perspective. Marilyn believes strongly in the teaching of the Holy Ghost and her desire is for ears and hearts to be attentive to God in every season of their lives. She gives all the praise, honor, and glory to the one and only true God for all that He has done. 

She is currently a disciple of Unfailing Love Worship Center where she serves beside her husband, Apostle Donald J. Haydel, Jr. They have four beautiful children.
